New Delivery Fleets

New Delivery Fleets Ready for Indonesian Road Intermodal

C Company News · Announcements · 10 Nov 2023 · 3 min read

The slowest part of most shipments is not the ocean leg. It is the wait between the container leaving the terminal gate and arriving at the customer door. We have expanded our road fleet to close that gap.

What is new

The additional units cover both standard and high-cube containers, with prime movers stationed at the ports we use most. Keeping trucks near the terminal rather than dispatching them on request removes several hours from every pickup.

What changes for you

Free storage time at the terminal is short, and demurrage begins the moment it ends. Faster pickup means fewer shipments crossing that line. For factories running tight production schedules, it also means a delivery window you can plan a shift around.

Tracking for the road leg now appears in the same place as your ocean tracking. One shipment, one record, from origin port to your gate.

Booking works exactly as before. If your cargo needs door delivery, select it when you book and the road leg is arranged with the main carriage.
